Paid access is activated only after successful payment or approved invoicing. The price, billing period, renewal status, taxes and cancellation terms shown at checkout or in an Order Form form part of your subscription agreement.
1. Scope
These Payment & Billing Terms apply to subscriptions, database access plans, One Search purchases and other paid TPAtlas services. They supplement the Terms of Use and Database Licence.
2. Contracting party and merchant
Your contracting party is the TPAtlas owner or operating entity identified on the checkout page, Order Form, invoice or subscription confirmation. That entity is responsible for supplying the purchased TPAtlas service. A payment processor, card network or bank acts only in its payment-processing role and does not supply the TPAtlas database.
3. Prices and currency
The price and billing currency are those displayed immediately before purchase or stated in the applicable commercial document. Bank conversion charges, card charges or intermediary fees imposed by a subscriber's bank are outside TPAtlas control.
4. Taxes
Prices may be shown exclusive or inclusive of applicable GST, VAT, sales tax, withholding tax or similar taxes as stated at checkout or on the invoice. The subscriber is responsible for taxes that the law places on the subscriber. TPAtlas may collect tax where required by law.
5. Payment authorisation
By submitting a payment method, the payer represents that they are authorised to use it and authorises the disclosed charge. Where recurring billing is selected, the payer also authorises recurring charges for the disclosed subscription amount and interval, subject to any additional authentication, mandate or notice required by law or the payment provider.
6. Subscription activation
Database access may be activated after successful payment, confirmation of an approved purchase order, or another payment arrangement accepted by TPAtlas. Access may be delayed where payment is pending, reversed, under review, or requires additional verification.
7. Recurring billing and renewal
If a plan is expressly described as auto-renewing, it renews for the period disclosed at purchase unless cancelled in accordance with the cancellation method disclosed to the subscriber. TPAtlas will not treat a plan as recurring unless recurring billing is clearly disclosed before the initial charge. Renewal charges remain subject to applicable payment-network and local-law requirements.
8. Cancellation
Cancellation stops future renewal charges but does not normally reverse charges already validly incurred. Unless the checkout, Order Form or mandatory law states otherwise, access continues until the end of the paid subscription period following cancellation.
9. Refunds
Except where required by applicable law, stated in a specific offer, or agreed in writing, subscription fees are non-refundable once paid access has been enabled. TPAtlas may issue a full or partial refund at its discretion for duplicate billing, material service failure, or another documented billing error. Any approved refund will normally be returned to the original payment method.
10. Failed, disputed or reversed payments
If a payment fails, is reversed, charged back or remains overdue, TPAtlas may retry the payment where permitted, request another payment method, suspend access or terminate the affected subscription. A good-faith billing dispute should be raised with TPAtlas promptly so it can be investigated before a chargeback is initiated where reasonably possible.
11. Price changes
Price changes do not alter a fully paid fixed-term subscription unless expressly agreed. For recurring plans, a material price change will be communicated before it takes effect for a future renewal, subject to applicable law.
12. Invoices and records
Invoices, receipts and subscription confirmations may be issued electronically. The subscriber is responsible for supplying correct billing, tax and entity information. TPAtlas may retain transaction and invoice records as required for tax, accounting, fraud prevention, audit and legal compliance.
13. Payment processors
Payments may be processed by a third-party provider selected by TPAtlas. The provider may process payment credentials, device information, billing details, fraud signals and transaction information under its own legal terms and privacy notice. The provider's availability and supported payment methods may vary by country.
14. Card and payment security
Where payment credentials are collected by the payment processor, TPAtlas should not receive or store complete card numbers or card security codes unless specifically required and lawfully permitted. Subscribers must not send card security data to TPAtlas by ordinary email.
15. Promotions, trials and coupons
Promotional pricing, trials, coupons or credits may be subject to separate eligibility, duration and conversion terms shown with the offer. Unless stated otherwise, they have no cash value and may not be transferred or resold.
16. Consumer and mandatory rights
Nothing in these terms excludes a refund, cancellation right, statutory warranty or other right that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where mandatory law conflicts with these terms, mandatory law prevails to that extent.
17. Billing contact
For subscriptions, invoices, billing corrections, cancellation or refund requests, contact [email protected] and include the account or invoice details needed to identify the subscription.
