Necessary technologies support login, security and core functions. Analytics, preference or marketing technologies are used only where enabled and, where required, after consent.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files or identifiers stored by a website or related service. TPAtlas may also use similar technologies such as local storage, pixels or software development kit identifiers.
2. Categories
| Category | Purpose | Control |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Authentication, session management, security, load balancing and consent preferences. | Required for the requested service; blocking may prevent login or core functions. |
| Preferences | Remember interface or product choices. | Optional where not strictly necessary. |
| Analytics | Understand aggregate use, performance and navigation so the website can be improved. | Used subject to applicable consent requirements. |
| Marketing | Measure campaigns or provide relevant business advertising. | Used only where enabled and permitted, normally with consent where required. |
3. Cookie settings
Where a consent manager is used, you can accept, reject or change non-essential cookie choices through Cookie Settings. You can also use browser controls to block or delete cookies.
4. Current cookie list
The live Cookie Settings panel should identify the non-essential vendors and retention periods used on the production site. TPAtlas will not intentionally load non-essential analytics or marketing cookies before required consent has been obtained.
5. Third-party technologies
Some cookies may be set by service providers used for authentication, analytics, payment, support or marketing. Those providers may process information under their own privacy terms as well as contractual arrangements with TPAtlas.
When paid checkout is enabled, the selected payment processor may use strictly necessary cookies, local storage, device identifiers or fraud-prevention technologies on its hosted or embedded payment pages. Those technologies are governed by the processor's own privacy and cookie information as presented during checkout.
6. Retention
Session cookies expire when the session ends. Persistent cookies remain for the period stated in Cookie Settings or until deleted. TPAtlas will keep retention periods proportionate to the purpose.
7. Changes
This Notice will be updated if the categories or purposes of cookies materially change.
